Crane Operator

Searching for the perfect work-life balance?

At McLeod Cranes and Hiabs, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service to customers in and around the wider Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

We require a safety-conscious Crane Operator who has a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. 

With a sound understanding of the equipment and confidence in working on various sites, our successful applicant will also have:

  • A Class 4 licence

  • Working towards or holding an NZQA in Crane Operation

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Great time management skills

  • Strong health and safety focus

Hiab Operator

At McLeod Cranes and Hiabs, we strive to deliver exceptional Hiab services to customers throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas.

​

We are seeking a safety-oriented Hiab Operator with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

​

Our ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Hiab equipment, the ability to work efficiently on various job sites, and possess the following qualities:

  • Class 5 Driver's License

  • Excellent communication abilities

  • Strong time management skills

  • A steadfast commitment to health and safety

 

We would also welcome applicants with Class 4 licenses and no background in Hiab operations. See trainee operators below.
