Yesterday McLeod Cranes lifted Oracle back into the water and what a change from when we lifted it out. This is going to be one awesome vessel to fish from when they finish those final touches. The Oracle team and Hutcheson Boats have done a great job and were a great group to work with making for a smooth lift.

Well its been a busy week with Fletcher Construction placing the last beam on The NZ Transport Agency Harbour Link Project. Peter McLeod our structural engineer has had his hands full working closely with engineer Gareth Hole from Fletchers planning a very technically complex lift. Maximus (GMK5170) and Lofty (GMK5130) operated by Justin Martin with very short outriggers to place a 70 Tonne Steel Beam with the help of Roy Ogle dogging it gently into place. You can read the full story on SunLive or at the Bay of Plenty Times websites. "It will be quite an engineering feat," Harbour Link project manager Kevin Reid said.
Pictured Lofty our GMK5130 works at Eleven as it gets closer to completion at the hands of Marra Construction. It is a awesome structure Marra have completed here with two towers, roof top pools and amazing views. Well worth a look if you're in the Mt Maunganui Apartment Market.
