Pictured: BIG SHED at work in Tauriko living up to there name by building a truely big shed, as you can see in the pictures or in driving past on SH29. You reallly see the scale when you step in side of what is going to be quite a landmark on the hill overlooking the new industrial park. John is shown at the bottom driving our TG500m - a 50 Tonne truck crane placing the last panel delivered by the team at Eagle Transport.
Pictured the 130 Tonne Crane places the 35 Tonne concrete panels at 101 Aerodrome Rd for Bob Clarkson.
Earlier in the month our 80 Tonne Grove with Carl Hawkings at the controls had the opportunity to work with the great team from McMillan & Lockwood. Pictured above the 80 is shown lifting equipment into place.
At 30 Tonne Big Shed's team and our 130 tonne crane "Lofty" place one of the larger panels at Aviation Drive. Planning was the key here. All the panels were layed out by Big Shed allowing for a smooth and safe day. Well done everyone!
This work site is a great example of what you can do with the Grove All Terrain Cranes. Here you see the GMK3050 our 55 Tonne all terrain crane in action. The ute is parked on the access driveway which Brian our crane operator was required to back down and around into place. Something he made look really simple. In this picture you can see him lifting a tilt-panel as an eight point lift.
Great pictures by the Foreman Scotty of the New - New World coming together on the corner of Maunganui Rd and Tweed Street. Pictured from left to right is the 16 Tonne Crane (Nippy) lifting in steel work, 10 Tonne Crane (Little Toot) providing mancage support to the 80 Tonne Crane (Awesome) on the right lifting in the large concrete panels.
