I’m proud to tell you that our company will shortly be gaining extensive new service capability. From 1st November, we will be integrating the business and assets of Bay Hi-abs into McLeod Hiabs, which will be a specialist division of our company.
The enlargement of our business into hiabs is a natural development into a wholly related, often integral, service area. Bay Hi-abs is recognisably the regional leader in the sector, with 10 vehicles and support team, and has deservedly built a substantial customer service reputation. We have long been aware of the feeling among customers that hiabs would provide a valuable extension to our crane hire operations, and we have been working hard to achieve this integration for some time. This is thus an important step for McLeod, and I know it will be so for you, as we build on this extended operational base with increased focus on improved efficiency and economy in our integrated services. We can also see the benefits we will bring to the renewed hiabs company, via our culture, our unremitting focus on health & safety, and our leading-edge digital and other operational systems. The synergies between our two companies are clear, and I know we share the same determination to provide unmatched levels of individual customer service throughout the Bay of Plenty and central North Island. Continuity in some areas is as important as change. Charles Brown, founder of Bay Hi-abs will continue with the new company, and all the Bay Hi-abs team will be offered new contracts with McLeod Hiabs. We will be employing a highly experienced manager for the company in Phil Hutchinson, currently Bay of Plenty manager for TR Group, who will introduce himself to you once we are up and running. Changes from here will be gradual. Simply, we know we need to earn your hiabs business, and we are determined to do so. Throughout, we will be moving carefully to ensure we continue to serve you and each of our customers with the levels of service and capability you expect from a market-leading company. If you have any questions regarding this development, please just pick up the phone. Best Regards, Scott McLeod Comments are closed.
