For Added Efficiency And Economy To You.![]() You may already have met Roger Farrington. If not, we’re pleased to introduce Roger as a recent addition to our team. Either way, we believe you’ll notice the added experience, the extensive competence and high professionalism he brings to our operations. As Operations Supervisor, Roger will often be your first point of contact for new crane projects and lifts. It makes good sense. Having been working with crane operations since the 70’s (we won’t say exactly when), there’s little in the business that he’s not fully familiar with. In a way he works for you more than he works for us. From pricing, through forward planning of equipment, to site assessments, and onsite supervision of more complex lifts, it’s Roger’s job to ensure you get optimum efficiency, economy, certainty and safety with every lift you need.
The fact is, these things depend on experience. And Roger has plenty. Construction? Yes, experience in everything you can name. Steel erecting, pre-cast, the lot. In marine work, he’s handled everything for Cookson’s, builders of the America’s Cup boats, and much besides. Big stuff? Yes again. His Auckland experience includes the Victoria Park Tunnel, the Newmarket viaduct, the new Waterview connection. We could go on. (Though Roger, in fact, prefers to wear his experience lightly.) Just as important, he’s playing a big role in our own team development. Assessing competencies, auditing operational practices, helping bring on individual and team professionalism to the next level. McLeod already has operational systems and procedures, staff training and calibre, and a safety record second to none. The fact is, we’re not interested in second best in anything. And we know that’s true for you and all our customers. Roger’s arrival is another step in our unswerving commitment to be the very best in our industry. That’s the only way to deliver the very best service to you. Best Regards, All the Team at McLeod. Comments are closed.
